Ocean Surf Hotel

The Ocean Surf is in a renovated, pink-and-aqua 1940 Art Deco building. There are 49 guestrooms on three floors. Windows open for fresh air, and some rooms have balconies with ocean views. If youve brought food or drink along, youll appreciate the convenient compact fridges. Relax and enjoy your favorite program on the premium cable TV, or step downstairs and relax with a book or conversation on the sun-drenched outdoor patio. The hotel does not have food or drink service, but there are numerous restaurants in the surrounding area. Parking is available in nearby lots for a fee. The hotel is in the North Beach section of Miami Beach, four blocks from North Shore Open Space Park, home to hiking and biking trails and much more. The Atlantic Ocean is right across the street from the hotel. Put a towel on the sand, lie back and forget your worries. Or take to the waves on a jet ski (rentals are nearby). Biscayne Bay to the west has calmer waters if youre a beginner. If you prefer your pleasure in the form of shopping, go two miles north to Bal Harbour Shops. Save some energy for a little clubbing in South Beach, five miles south of the Ocean Surf.
