Built in 1913 as an apartment hotel, the establishment was a trailblazer in its day. Its original white wood-framed building was the first lodging facility in downtown La Jolla, and saw todays tourist town grow around it. A laundry service is available on site for a fee. The hotel features newly renovated air-conditioned, non-smoking guest rooms and suites (some with fully equipped kitchens and fireplaces).
