Location & Distances

It is located in the village of Kolymvari, northwest of Chania, in the municipality of Platanias, in the regional unit of Chania, on Crete. It is 23 km distance from Chania town, with frequent bus connection and a motorway exit, at a key point, surrounded by countless attractions. Close by Aphea Village are some of the most famous beaches in the world such as Falassarna, Elafonissi , Balos lagoon and the island of Gramvousa are some of the many destinations that you must visit, and are easily accessible as day trips. The beach in Kolymvari, which is about 500m distance, with crystal clear water, is excellent for swimming. Little further is the orthodox academy of Crete, Moni Gonias and the cave of St John the Hermit in a couple of klm distance. The airport of Chania is 42 klm distance. Architecture & Concept

We would like to welcome you to Aphea Village and introduce you to a new experience of Crete. It is cozily nestled between the sea and cliffs, a quiet complex of 30 fully equipped apartments with panoramic breathe taking views, towards the sea, that allow you to see all the way to Chania. There is a fresh water pool on our sun terrace which is equipped with free sun loungers and parasols. A buffet breakfast with local products and delicacies are available, drinks and local specialities can be enjoyed at the hotel’s snack bar. Each apartment has a private entrance, separate bedrooms and small gardens. Most have sea views and some have pool views. The property is ideal for couples and families and for those looking for a relaxing vacation.
